Vehicle, bicyclist collide

BEAVERCREEK — Two people were injured Wednesday morning after a bicyclist and a vehicle collided at the intersection of Shakertown and Grange Hall roads.

The female driver, who was traveling east, suffered minor injuries and the male bicyclist, traveling west, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The road was closed after the accident, shortly before 9:30 a.m. and was expected to be reopened around 1:30 p.m.

Inclement weather was reported in the area at the lime of the crash, according to Beavercreek police, who are asking for any witnesses to contact the department at 937-426-1225.
