XENIA — Greene County Master Gardeners volunteers will share their expertise with the community from 7-9 p.m., Sept. 4, at First Fridays in downtown Xenia. Homeowners are encouraged to stop by and ask questions about any home horticulture dilemma.
“This is an opportunity to bring your weird weeds, unfamiliar insects and puny plant problems to trained volunteers who will review your issue and provide research-based information and recommendations,” a release from OSU Extension Greene County stated. “The Master Gardener booth is located on West Main Street in Xenia. Hope to see you then!”
The Greene County Master Gardeners also are available during hotline hours, from 1-4 p.m. every Wednesday, April-September, at the OSU Extension Office in Greene County.
The mission of the Greene County Master Gardeners is to teach environmentally sound, research-based gardening practices to the citizens of Greene County under the supervision of OSU Extension Greene County. For more information on the master gardeners, visit mastergardener.osu.edu or greene.osu.edu.
