XENIA — Bill and Connie Lute of Xenia will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on June 12. The two were married June 12, 1965 in Jamestown.
They have lived in Xenia for more than 40 years. Bill Lute retired from Unison, formerly known as Elano in Beavercreek, after 47 years and now is working at IHS Pharmacy delivering medicine.
Connie Lute worked occasionally, but felt it was more important to stay home to raise the family. She also babysat for numerous children throughout Xenia — even a second generation of the first.
They are parents to three daughters: LaNae Yankasky and fiancé Jim Ables of Blanchester, Sherria and Brian Rasey of Xenia, Karli and Scott Mikesell of Xenia. They have six grandchildren: Brock and Hannah Yankasky, Jacob and Caden Rasey, and Braylon and Madalyn Mikesell. They also have four great-grandchildren: Peyton, Olivia, Brilynn, and Audrey Yankasky.
They plan to celebrate with a trip out of town.
