Fairborn Chamber of Commerce holding awards banquet

FAIRBORN — The Fairborn Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Awards Ceremony on April 12.

The ceremony will begin with a 5:30 p.m. social hour at the Fairborn I-675 Holiday Inn. Following the social hour, dinner will start at 6:30 p.m.

Select honorees will be recognized at the event by the city of Fairborn, Fairborn Schools, Wright State University, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and the Greene County Career Center. The Fairborn Rotary Club, Lions Club, and police department will also recognize their outstanding members of the year.

Four honorees will be recognized from the Chamber of Commerce, including Ambassador of the Year Terri Lynn Perkins, the President’s Award going to Paul Keller, and The John Dalton Business Legacy Award going to the Fairborn Cement Plant. The major honor of the evening is the presentation of the Jack Huelsman Civic Award to Rena Leatherman.

The Fairborn High School Jazz Improvisation Ensemble will be providing entertainment for the evening, directed by Jon Gorretta.
