Believer’s Hope Church of God recently made a donation of more than $50,000 to Dayton Children’s Hospital.
FAIRBORN — Believer’s Hope Church of God in Fairborn made a donation of more than $50,000 to Dayton Children’s Hospital.
The church donated $52,192 to support the hospital’s pediatric mental health services. According to Katie Solovey, Dayton Children’s Hospital’s Media Relations manager, more than 1,800 children were admitted to the hospital due to a mental health crisis in the last year, and more received outpatient care through other hospital programs.
Attorney Greg Gantt and church secretary Dolly German presented the donation to Dayton Children’s Hospital Foundation representative Peg Foley this month.
“This generous gift from Believer’s Hope Church of God will directly benefit the children and families who depend on Dayton Children’s for their care,” said Solovey.
