FAIRBORN — The Fairborn Parks and Recreation Division is gearing up for warm weather by inviting citizens to reserve shelters at the local parks scattered throughout the city.
Fairborn residents wishing to reserve a shelter space will pay $10, while non-residents must pay $25. The Atherton Amphitheatre is available for rental for residents for $25; $50 for non-residents. The amphitheatre is not available to reserve online, but can be booked by contacting the Fairborn Parks and Recreation Division. All fees are non-refundable and are due at the time of the reservation. Individuals are not eligible for a refund in the event of a cancellation or bad weather. However, reservation dates may be changed in advance if the shelters are available.
Shelter reservations can be established online or at the Parks and Recreation office located at 461 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, which is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
To reserve a spot or to receive more information, get in touch with the Parks and Recreation Division at 937-754-3090. Printable forms for these programs are available at www.ci.fairborn.oh.us.
