FAIRBORN — Bryan Goney, 38, of Dayton; and Magen Branham, 27, of Dayton, were charged with felonious crimes after robbing the Circle K gas station approximately 1:24 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 in Fairborn.

No one was harmed during the event.

According to Fairborn police, a suspect observed a Circle K employee outside the store before approaching the employee with a gun to order them back inside so they could demand money. After the suspect received the money, they fled the store, leaving in a U-Haul van. A description was given to surrounding agencies, allowing a Greene County Sheriff to locate the van at Circle K in Xenia.

The Greene County Prosecutors Office formally charged the pair Monday, Nov. 14, according to a release by the Fairborn Police. Goney was charged with aggravated robbery, a felony of the first degree; kidnapping, a felony of the second degree and abduction, a felony of the third degree.
