FAIRBORN — The City of Fairborn Street Division will close a section of Xenia Drive and Maple Avenue to perform needed work at the intersection on Thursday, Oct. 27, weather permitting.
The project is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. with a completion time near 6 p.m.
The project entails upgrading the eight traffic signal heads and completing a permanent asphalt repair on the north side of the intersection.
A detour will be set up for traffic control in all directions:
– Motorists traveling east or west bound on Xenia Drive will be diverted via Dayton Drive and then to Broad Street.
– Drivers heading north or south bound on Maple Avenue will be redirected via Central Avenue and then onto Mann Avenue.
