Community libraries announce schedule

YELLOW SPRINGS — The Greene County public libraries have planned a variety of events for people of all ages during the month of October. The Yellow Springs branch has the following events scheduled:

Origami Yoda Club for ages 7 and up, 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25. The theme is Darth Paper Strikes Back, The Secret of the Fortune Wookie. Hear a chapter read aloud and have a snack as the adventure continues with more Star Wars origami and fun inspired by the book.

One-on-One Tech Tutoring for adults, 1-2 p.m. Nov. 14, Oct. 27. Register for a one-on-one tech tutoring session with a librarian. Talk to a librarian and schedule a different date and time if these don’t work with your schedule. Registration required.

Get Organized with Lori Firsdon for adults, 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 6-7:30 p.m. Clutter and chaos creeps into our cars, our hobbies and even our purses. Learn to tame these disorganized pitfalls with these practical and doable organization systems.
