Board member sworn in for county board

SPRINGFIELDDuring the Mental Health & Recovery Board Program Committee meeting, Greene County Commissioner Bob Glaser administered the oath of office to newly appointed board member and Greene County resident Patrick Williams.

Mental Health & Recovery Board Executive Director Dr. Greta Mayer introduced Mr. Glaser, sharing with the board members and audience that Glaser is a Beavercreek resident and thanked him for his service. Before administering the oath, Glaser spoke about the importance of agreeing to dedicate time to contribute in this important way.

Williams joins eight members from Clark County, six members from Greene County and two members from Madison County on the Mental Health & Recovery Board. Williams shared a bit about his personal hobbies and interest in participating as a voice for residents of Greene County.

The Mental Health & Recovery Board plans, funds and evaluates mental health, alcohol and other drug services for the residents of Clark, Greene and Madison Counties. More than a third of the funding for local mental health and alcohol and drug services comes from local levies.
