XENIA — Following 30 years with Greene County, Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) Ranger Sgt. Bill Nickell was honored last week at a retirement reception hosted by the park agency within the Greene County Media Room.
GCP&T coworkers and volunteers, as well as Greene County employees, past GCP&T coworkers, friends and family attended the reception, which featured a presentation by the Greene County Board of County Commissioners.
Nickell was presented with a proclamation, lighted Greene County court house and gifts from his GCP&T coworkers.
Nickell, an avid outdoorsman, plans on spending more time with his family, taking trips to his cabin in southern Ohio and attending local auctions.
