FAIRBORN – The City of Fairborn is scheduling Commerce Center Boulevard to be closed for repairs beginning Tuesday morning.
The closing will take place between Trebein Road and the Morris Furniture entrance beginning 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 until 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7. A detour for the area will be posted.
The closure is due to a large pavement repair that is currently needed, along with installation of under drains. Ground water has been found to be damaging the roadway, and under drain installation will alleviate this problem and protect the structural integrity of the road.
The roadway will be open from Dayton-Yellow Springs Road up to the Morris Furniture Store entrance. Aaccess to Morris will be maintained from Dayton-Yellow Springs Road.
