Mall ready for next phase

BEAVERCREEK — The Mall at Fairfield Commons announced that it will begin the second phase of its property renovation. Starting this month, this interior redevelopment will include the renovation of Center Court, plus the addition of a variety of shopper friendly amenities.

The large marble staircase that currently divides Center Court will be removed and a new floating staircase will be installed near JCPenney. For added shopper convenience, a new set of men’s, women’s and family restrooms, complete with a dedicated family lounge, will be added on the lower level near rue21. These additions will be complemented by aesthetically appealing cosmetic changes throughout the property and a complimentary mobile charging station near the new restrooms.

“The Mall at Fairfield Commons is committed to providing visitors with the best possible shopping experience,” said mall General Manager Kristie Miller. “The next phase of our ongoing redevelopment will make our Center Court more warm and inviting and provide our fashion-forward guests with even more conveniences as they shop, dine and spend time here with family and friends.”

All work will be completed with minimal interference for shoppers. Construction will be completed by late October, according to mall officials.

Last year, phase one of the redevelopment project was completed. It had an emphasis on the exterior of the property, including the addition of a new mall entrance and three popular full-service restaurants: B.J.’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, BRAVO! Cucina Italiana and Chuy’s Tex-Mex restaurant. Since the completion of that project, the center has welcomed several new retail and dining options.
