FAIRBORN — Two thousand, forty five individuals will walk across the stage beginning 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at the Wright State University Nutter Center with a college degree in their hand.
Thirty-six will have obtained their associates degree; 1,281 will have earned their bachelor’s degree; 708 will have their master’s and 30 may be addressed as “doctor”.
The class ranges from 19-to-60 years old, originating in 27 nations, 27 states and 64 Ohio counties. Three hundred five are international students, 173 of which are from India while the remaining 72 began in Saudi Arabia. One thousand, nine hundred forty three have roots in Ohio and the majority of the class, 1,095, are women.
Graduates spent the last few years in specific colleges across Wright State, each offering a varying amount to be considered alumni as of Saturday:
– College of Education and Human Services: 316
– College of Engineering and Computer Science: 468
– College of Liberal Arts: 473
– College of Nursing and Health: 109
– College of Science and Mathematics: 322
– Raj Soin College of Business: 259
– Boonshoft School of Medicine: 22 (master’s degree only)
– School of Professional Psychology: four
– Lake Campus: 87
Wright State President David Hopkins will deliver the commencement address. Meanwhile, Student Government President Gavin Doll and Wright State Alumni Association Board of Directors President Deb Downing will additionally offer words of wisdom to the graduates.
