JAMESTOWN — The Greeneview High School Drama Department will present “Murder in the Knife Room” – a comedy murder mystery by Jonathan Rand, 7 p.m. Nov. 13-14.

Friday night’s performance will be held at the Historical Jamestown Opera House. All tickets to the Opera House performance will be $10 each and can be purchased in advance. Contact Shanon Benton at Greeneview High School 937-675-9711 or [email protected] to purchase tickets. Half of Friday night’s proceeds will be donated to the Jamestown Historical Society for the Opera House fund.

Constructed in 1889, the Jamestown Opera House is a facility example of a late-19th-century combination town hall, township house, and opera house. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Jamestown Opera House received a third appropriation for $50,000 in Am. Sub. H.B. 699 of the 126th General Assembly, which have been used to help fund painting and plastering of the upstairs auditorium.

Saturday night’s performance will be held at Greeneview High School. Tickets for that performance are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors and can be purchased at the door. Play under the direction of Shanon Benton.
