One killed in motorcycle crash on North Fairfield

BEAVERCREEK — A motorcyclist was killed shortly after noon Monday following a collision with a car on North Fairfield Road.

According to a release from the Beavercreek Police Department, the motorcyclist was heading northbound on North Fairfield Road and collided with a car that was turning left from the southbound lane of that same road onto Lantz Road.

According to police, the motorcyclist was removed from the scene by medic and transported to Soin Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the other vehicle did not suffer any injury.

The crash remains under investigation.

According to Beavercreek Police Captain Scott Molnar, no fault has been determined in the incident and no one was cited because the investigation is still open.

Any witnesses are asked to contact Beavercreek officer Matt Hickey at 937-426-1225.

“The names of the individuals involved in the crash are not being disclosed at this time pending next of kin notification,” the release stated.
