In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Greene County Parks & Trails’ Doggie Dash ‘n Splash and Greene County Animal Control’s ongoing support of the event, a check for $838 (10 percent of total funds raised through the event) was presented to Greene County Animal Control at a recent Greene County Commissioners meeting.

The 2015 one-day event raised nearly $8,400. The recent canine festival included a canine splashground, demonstrations, contests, vendors and special guest K9 Karson. Proceeds from the event are used to maintain GCP&T’s Scout Dog Park.
