YELLOW SPRINGS – This fall’s Yellow Springs Street Fair will be kicked off by the first annual Love Run Relay, in partnership with 91.3 WYSO.
“The Yellow Springs Street Fair is an amazing celebration of our community,” Luke Dennis, WYSO Development Director said. “We see the Love Run Relay as a great way to meet our neighbors while getting out and getting active.”
Offering something for participants of all ages and skill levels, the Love Run Relay takes place on a 2-mile flat loop course and has an untimed 2-mile fun run/walk, a timed 8-mile race for solo runners and teams, and a solo and team costume contest to encourage all of the creativity the Street Fair is known for.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the Love Run Relay this fall,” Organizer Mick Mominee said “We are proud to be partnering with the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce to encourage people to get active and being able to help raise money for our local NPR station is a great bonus as well.”
