Fairborn commemorates 9/11

Fairborn held its 14th annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony Friday at the National Center for Medical Readiness. The ceremony included the presentation of the colors by the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard as well as comments from local officials.

In March 2011, Fairborn received a steel artifact from one of New York’s Twin Towers, which is part of the city’s 9/11 monument today.
