Holt to receive first star, promotion

FAIRBORN — Col. Cameron Holt, Air Force Installation Contracting Agency director of staff, will receive his first star and promotion to brigadier general at a ceremony, 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14 in the Modern Flight Hangar at the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

Col. Holt’s brother, Brig. Gen. Blaine D. Holt, United States Military Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization deputy, will perform the pin-on during the event.

Prior to his current assignment, Col. Holt was the Director of Contracting in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.

Col. Cameron Holt received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Georgia in 1990 where he also earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
