Local checkpoints result in 6 arrests

FAIRBORN (WDTN) — Six drivers were arrested following an OVI checkpoint and saturation patrols in Greene County.

One checkpoint was held on Colonel Glenn Highway Friday night, and saw 255 vehicles pass through. Three were tested for OVI, while one was arrested. Nearby saturation patrols netted five OVI arrests, for a total of six OVI arrests in the area Friday night.

The checkpoint was held by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Fairborn Police, and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
