CLIFTON — Construction has started on replacing the deck for Greene County Parks & Trails’ (GCP&T) Lodge at Clifton Reserve located along the State and National Scenic Little Miami River.
The new deck will be a bit larger as well as built from materials to withstand the weather and require little to no maintenance.
The project is funded by Issue 18, the Greene County Park District levy passed in 2015, and is one of several projects to be completed this year by the park district. Immediate projects funded by Issue 18 include installing an all-access ramp to the cabin at Indian Mound Reserve, repairs to the trail spur near Bob Evans, replacing/renovating bridges at Indian Mound Reserve/Sara Lee Arnovitz Reserve and more.
The Lodge at Clifton Reserve seats 60 and is open for reservations to the general public for weddings, family reunions, graduations, business retreats and more. For more information on reserving The Lodge at Clifton Reserve, call GCP&T at 937-562-6440, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.gcparkstrails.com.
