Soin hosts baby fair

BEAVERCREEK — Soin Medical Center Holiday Baby Fair will include a number of activities and will take place 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3535 Pentagon Blvd., next to the Mall at Fairfield Commons. The event is free and open to the public.

Soin Baby Fair

The Baby Fair includes numerous items parents need to know to prepare for the arrival of their baby. Participants can tour Soin’s maternity unit, visit retail booths, talk to OB/GYNs and sign up for childbirth classes. The fair also features food, entertainment and prizes. A fire truck from the Beavercreek Fire Department will be on display for children and their parents to see.

Dad’s Derby

Dads can test their parenting skills in the Dad’s Derby. Contestants will compete against each other in a series of parenting tasks, like packing a hospital bag, putting a diaper on a baby doll, and drinking milk from a baby bottle. Winners will receive a $50 gift certificate to Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Babies ‘R’Us Baby Gear Fashion Show

Parents can check out the latest baby gear at the Babies ‘R’ Us Baby Gear Fashion Show. Volunteers will showcase strollers, baby carriers and diaper bags.
