FAIRBORN — Nancy S. Harris, age 80 of Fairborn, passed away Friday May 19, 2017. She was born December 20, 1936 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Forshey) McGarry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 1992; a son, Garry Harris; and a sister, Lucille Knapp. She is survived by three children, Thomas (Ruth) Harris of Beavercreek, Kevin (Yasuko) Harris of Clark County, Julie Harris of Clark County; a daughter-in-law, Pam Harris of Beavercreek; eight grandchildren, Emily, Lee, Kenny, Adam, Steven, Andrea, Alex, Aaron; and five great-grandchildren, Braylon, Bella, Brooklyn, Mason, and Bryson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Anna MacDonald for her loving care. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 27, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. A graveside service will follow at 10:45 A.M. at the Byron Cemetery, Pastor Jeff Mohr officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
