XENIA — A carnival worker was found dead at the Greene County Fairgrounds Tuesday morning.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the fairgrounds at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday after the worker’s girlfriend found him deceased in the trailer he was staying in for the week at the fair.
“There didn’t appear to be any signs of violence,” Sheriff Gene Fischer said Tuesday.
A cause of death was not known as of press time. A coroner’s investigation is underway. The individual’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
