Judge Stephen Wolaver shakes the hand of Jon Holmes, the fifth graduate of Greene County Veterans’ Court Sept. 27. Holmes, of Fairborn, spent four years of Navy service aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, and 18 months in the specialty court program.

The occasion marked the third graduation ceremony for the program, which began in 2017 through Judge Stephen Wolaver’s court and includes personalized treatment and supervision. There are 24 veterans’ treatment courts in Ohio.
