Bac, the Fairborn Police Department’s K9 Unit recently received a bullet and stab-proof vest. It came with the help of Vesting America’s Police K-9’s, which strives to provide this equipment at no cost to police departments. It weighs approximately two and a half pounds, offers flexibility, is flame-resistant and offers protection against up to a .44 magnum point blank and a four inch blade.
