LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Nick Solak homered and knocked in all three Louisville runs, and left-hander Drew Harrington held Wright State to five hits over 7 1/3 innings as the top-seeded Cardinals clinched the Louisville Regional with a 3-1 victory on Sunday to reach their fourth straight NCAA Super Regional.

Harrington (12-2), the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Pitcher of the Year, struck out five and allowed two walks. Zack Burdi allowed a two-out RBI single to Gabe Snyder in the bottom of the ninth but settled down to close out third-seeded Wright State (46-17).

Louisville (50-12) meanwhile won its 22nd straight home game and waits to see where it will play the Super Regional in pursuit of its third College World Series berth in four years.

Solak’s two-run homer in the fourth got Louisville started and he added an RBI single in the fifth. He and catcher Will Smith had three hits apiece for the Cardinals.
