XENIA — The Xenia Men’s soccer team celebrated a 3-0 win over Riverside Stebbins, Thursday night at Doug Adams Stadium.

The first half of the game went by fast with a goal by Shon Dyamond, assisted by Nate Higgins. Goalie Jarred Robinson had several saves throughout the half. The second goal was scored by Joe Cloud.

In the second half, Zach Frisby scored a goal with six minutes left in the game.

Overall, Xenia coach Kennan Mikal was happy with the first half of the game.

“Defensively, they played great. Joe Cloud and Genius Gaise played tremendously tonight as well as the back line with Noah Turner and Matt Stefan,” he said.

The Xenia Buccaneers have an overall record of 6-3. They remain in first place in the Greater Western Ohio Conference’s American North Division with a 3-3-0 mark. Their next game will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at Greeneview.
