Remembering M. A. Broadstone

BEAVERCREEK — The Honorable Michael A. Broadstone was born in Beavercreek, attended Xenia College and became a teacher in Greene County schools. Later he was a representative of a publishing firm in Philadelphia. In 1882, he moved back to Xenia to be a part of an undertaking business. He studied law, passed the Board in 1895 and began his law practice. He was a member of Xenia Council and County Recorder. He served in the State Senate from 1912 -1914. He is known for his History of Greene County published in 1918.
