Vests purchased for K-9

Editor:

I am very pleased and proud to inform you that the goal to obtain a vest for the Sheriff’s K-9 Officer, Roy, has been reached and even surpassed.

In addition to the funds received, the Docton Animal Clinic has kindly assembled and donated two field first aid kids, one for each of our K-9s.

I would like to personally thank the 22 people who so generously donated funds to this cause, in order that the goal might be reached: Geyer’s Office Supply; John Calvert and Ann Forrest; McColaugh Funeral Home; Bob and Lisa Richards; Nancy Hazlett; Debbie and Matt Barber and family; Moorman’s Towing; Parsonson’s Towing; Johnson Towing; WV Automotive and Towing; Rick’s Towing; Judy Smith; Mary Kilgore; Ron Thornburg; Nick’s Restaurant; Frieda Parks; Mary Luttrell; Shirley Lang Barber; Charley and Shirley Stepp and Key Bank. There were also two anonymous donors.

Thank you to Maj. Rick Bowman and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for your help and support.

I sincerely thank everyone for helping our K-9 Officer, Roy, to be safe as he continues to protect and serve our community.

– Nancy Hazlett, Xenia
