YELLOW SPRINGS – Ohio State Patrol troopers said alcohol and speed appeared to be factors in a crash that killed two people in Yellow Springs on Saturday.
It happened on Dayton Street near East Enon Road around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
According to troopers, James W. Acree, 36, passed a vehicle, lost control, went off the road, hit two traffic signs, and rolled the vehicle. Acree and his 24-year-old sister and passenger of the vehicle, Valerie C. Acree both died as a result of their injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
