XENIA — No swimming is permitted at any Greene County Parks & Trails site and those found violating the park policy could be cited by park rangers, according to a news release.
“We want to especially warn park patrons of the dangers involved in diving off Cedar Cliff Falls at Indian Mound Reserve in Cedarville,” GCP&T Director Chrisbell Bednar stated. “It is a very rocky area and you cannot see to the bottom of the water, which could have hidden dangers. One jump or dive could change a life forever with potentially fatal or life-altering injuries.”
Additionally, no swimming is permitted at sites adjoining the Little Miami River or at Spring Lakes Park in Bellbrook.
“Our mission is to provide accessible and entertaining outdoor activities for all residents,” Bednar stated.
