FAIRBORN — The Fairborn Division of Water and Sewer issued a boil water advisory for varying areas of the city Monday, May 23, which has been canceled as of Tuesday, May 24.

The impacted areas included:

– Faircreek Ridge

– National Road

– Col. Glenn Highway

– Presidential Drive

– Housing areas off of Zink Rd.

A letter from Fairborn Utilities Superintendent Karen Hawkins said the precautionary advisory was issued in compliance with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency guidelines due to a major water main break.
