Museum offering free concert tickets

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight “Plays Las Vegas” 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

The performance is full of selections from Las Vegas headliners throughout the years, including Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks and Cher. Plus, the band pays tribute to one of Las Vegas’ most recent headliners, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, which made its premier there last year.

Due to the popularity of this free concert, tickets are required and will be available for public distribution beginning 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 9. Requests made before this time will not be accepted.

Beginning March 9, requests can be made in person at the museum 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday Those who cannot make it in person may request tickets by submitting an online form at www.surveymonkey.com/r/concert160409 or by calling 937-255-5924 or 937-255-7207.

Those requesting tickets must provide their name, phone number, mailing address, and the number of tickets they would like mailed to them. The limit is four tickets per person, and they will be mailed beginning March 16.
