Art exhibition

YELLOW SPRINGS — The Village Artisans co-operative, 100 Corry Street, announces its early winter gallery show, “Holiday Memories,” featuring works in a variety of media created by Village Artisan members. The show will run from Nov. 24 through Jan. 15. The public is invited to stop by and browse until 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. A reception for the artists will take place at the Gallery between 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. Refreshments will be served.

Drug coalition

XENIA — The Greene County Community Drug Coalition will meet at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3, at the Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 245 Valley Road.

Holiday Craft Show

CLIFTON — The 12 Days of Christmas show has been taking place for the past 9 years, and will continue this year Dec. 11 through 22, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 12-7 p.m. Sundays, 183 N. Jackson. It features local artisans created handcrafted gifts, all costing less than $40, in addition to other items. The event also offers a full restaurant, catered by Rue Farms.

Open house cancelled

SPRINGFIELD — The holiday Open House at the historic Hertzler House has been cancelled for Dec. 6, as an ongoing plumbing problem has made the house uninviting for the pubic. The Hertzler House Advisory Committee hopes to get the problem fixed and plans are underway for a better 2016.

Senior center homemakers

FAIRBORN – The Fairborn Senior Center is accepting applications for part-time homemakers. Hours will vary. Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen, and they must also have a valid driver’s license and car insurance. Apply at 325 N. Third St.

Supervisor meeting

XENIA — The Greene Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold their monthly board meetings on the third Thursday of each month at the District’s office, 1363 Burnett Drive. The meetings are open to the public and will begin at 6:30 p.m. Any change in meeting location or time will be posted on the district’s web page or in the newspaper. Minimalists meet

YELLOW SPRINGS — Dayton Minimalists meet 7 p.m. every third Thursday of the month at the John Bryan Center, Yellow Springs.

MVECA financial statements

YELLOW SPRINGS — Fiscal Year 2015 financial statements for the Miami Valley Educational Computer Association are available for viewing from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the organization’s office at 330 E. Enon Road, Yellow Springs.
