A group of Greene County employees recently donated 94 care packages for local veterans to Greene County Veterans’ Services. Greene County Sanitary Engineering employee Valerie Jackson organized the collection in honor of her father, who served in World War II. More than 180 boxes in total were collected to help 94 veterans.
