Paper art offered for children

FAIRBORN – Students will enjoy cutting out glittery paper and solid color construction paper to create a paper flower arrangement, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 at Terri Lyn Art Studio Gallery, 415 W. Main St. The event is open to children 5-years-old and elder. Solid or print patterns can be used to create the terra cotta pot. Strips of quilling paper will be used for stems and curly strips.

This artwork will be glued to a sturdy Bristol board. This program will be instructed by Terri Perkins, owner of Terri Lynn Art Studio and Gallery. All supplies are included in the fee, which is $15. Participants must register by Wednesday, Sept. 23 at the Fairborn Parks and Recreation Office, 461 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road or the Fairborn Government Center, 44 W. Hebble Ave, or by phone, 937-754-3090.
