Duck race set for Saturday

XENIA — The Greene Community Health Foundation will host its annual Adopt-a-Healthy Duck Campaign and Race, at 7 p.m., Aug. 29, at the Clifton Mill. At the event, which raises funds for health and wellness efforts in Greene County, rubber ducks will be dumped into the pond at the Clifton Mill, where they will float to the finish. Owners of the top finishers in the duck race will receive prizes.

Ducks are available for adoption for $5 at the Greene County Public Health offices at 360 Wilson Drive, Xenia.

Prizes will include $500 cash, a video camera, a gas grill, a $100 gift certificate to Dick’s Sporting Goods and a $50 gift certificate to Clifton Mill.
