XENIA & BEAVERCREEK — Community members are invited to light the tree with Santa 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 at Greene Memorial Hospital and 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 at Soin Medical Center.

Activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the ceremonies starting at 6 p.m.

Santa will arrive mid-ceremony to throw the switch and light the tree. He will stay around to enjoy the festivities but will not sit for pictures. Pictures can be taken as he roams the activities.

Throughout the evening, children can visit Santa’s Workshop and write letters to mail to Santa.

The tree lightings will also feature a live nativity, which is staffed by hospital employees, family and friends. Nativity costumes have been donated by Xenia Area Community Theater (X*ACT). The nativity includes live animals – a donkey, a horse, sheep, goats, and more.

Visitors can enjoy cocoa, cookies and holiday music.

Greene Memorial Hospital is located at 1141 N. Monroe Drive, Xenia. Soin Medical Center is located at 3535 Pentagon Boulevard, Beavercreek.
