Cadets earn scholarships

At the Greene County Career Center’s October Board of Education meeting, four recipients of Greene County Career Center Adult Education Scholarship Endowment Fund scholarships were introduced: Sherman Thatcher from Xenia, Jessica Moore from New Carlisle, Chris Shaw from Xenia and Cody King from Huber Heights. The scholarship program is managed through Greene Giving and provides financial assistance to qualified adults enrolled in full-time programming at Greene County Career Center. The four are in the Peace Officer Basic Training program with aspirations of becoming law enforcement officers.
