XENIA — A Huber Heights man was arraigned Aug. 4 in Greene County Common Pleas Court after a grand jury indicted him for sexual offenses.

Steven D. McDowell, a former employee at Pristine Senior Living in Beavercreek, was indicted July 31 for 11 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, a fifth-degree felony; one count of voyeurism, a first-degree misdemeanor; and three counts of gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony.

At the time of his arrest, the 60-year-old man allegedly had multiple images on his cell phone that contained visual depictions of prepubescent minors in a state of nudity. The state alleged that while employed at the nursing home, McDowell had sexual contact with two elderly impaired residents.

McDowell is being held in the Greene County Jail and was arraigned via video. The court entered a plea of not guilty for the man.

Magistrate Raymond Dundes continued the $250,000 bond for McDowell at the hearing and scheduled a pre-trial for Tuesday, Aug. 15, a final pre-trial for Wednesday, Sept. 13 and a jury trial for Monday, Oct. 9.
