BEAVERCREEK — Greene County Parks and Trails (GCP&T) is hosting an eagle program 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 3 at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road.

All are invited to join GCP&T and learn about eagles in Ohio, specifically how the species has come back from the brink of extinction, their nesting habits, diet, number of young, and counties with nesting eagles.

Ohio currently has more than 200 nest pairs with several in the Miami Valley area. Bald eagles have been sighted near or within GCP&T’s Spring Lakes Park, Jacoby Canoe Launch and near Creekside Trail.

The program is free but donations are accepted.

For more information, call GCP&T at 937-562-6440, visit www.gcparkstrails.com or email [email protected].
