Fireworks, festivals set for the fourth

GREENE COUNTY — Residents can enjoy fireworks and other Fourth of July festivities within the next week.

Star Spangled Heights

10 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday, July 1, Thomas A. Cloud Park, 4707 Brandt Pike, Huber Heights

The Independence Day Celebration will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. starting at the Huber Centre, followed by family activities, a car show, food trucks, music, and the Rozzi World Famous Fireworks show at dusk.

Dayton Lights in Flight Fireworks Festival

5-10 p.m., Monday, July 3, Riverscape MetroPark, 111 E. Monument Avenue, Dayton

Celebrate Independence Day with a multi-cultural festival at 5 p.m. for food, fun and live entertainment. Lights in Flight fireworks display will begin at 10 p.m.

Centerville Americana Festival and Fireworks

7:30 a.m. – 10 p.m., Tuesday, July 4

The festival will begin the night before, on Monday, July 3, with a concert at 7 p.m. On the fourth, a 5K will start at 7:30 a.m. at Centerville High School Stadium, East Franklin Street. Americana Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on East Franklin Street. A street fair, entertainment, car show and children’s activities will follow until fireworks kick off at 10 p.m.

Fairborn Parade and Fireworks

10 a.m. – 10 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, Fairborn Community Park, 691 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn

The fourth in Fairborn will start with a block party 3-10 p.m., Monday, July 3, on Main Street. An Independence Day parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4 at Fairborn Plaza Shopping Center. Fireworks will conclude the festivities at 10 p.m. at Community Park.

Beavercreek 4th of July

6-10:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, Rotary Park, 2260 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek

A parade will begin at 6 p.m. at Meadowbridge Drive and continue east on Dayton-Xenia Road to Beavercreek High School. After the parade, Rotary Park will feature food trucks, live entertainment, children’s activities, and fireworks at 10 p.m.

Kettering Go 4th! Fireworks

10 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, Delco Park

Bring chairs, blankets and family for fireworks at 10 p.m.

Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks Festival

4-11 p.m., Friday, July 7, Shawnee Park, 591 South Park Drive, Xenia

Xenia’s annual fireworks and festival will be busy with food trucks, live entertainment, a puppet and magic show, bike parade and more, followed by fireworks.
