The Fairborn Senior Center hosts a quilting group that meets on the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Participant Linda Adams (pictured) said they make no mistakes, just design changes.

Janet Reuwer created a full-sized Coca-Cola quilt two weeks ago because it is “nostalgic” and “makes her feel good,” she said. Reuwer creates quilts that she said she later gives away to local nursing homes.

Quilting group participant Connie Howard has created 40 eight-inch square quilt blocks that she plans to use as she creates a full-sized quilt. The flowers pictured on the quilt blocks were hand-sewn.
