ENON – Six members of Pup Tent 5 Post 8437 made their monthly visit to the patients at the Dayton Veterans Affairs Hospital, as one of the principle programs in the Military Order of the Cootie, the honor degree of the VFW.

The concept of these visits is to raise the spirits of our veterans who have dedicated their lives protecting the civilian way of life. Members talked with the veterans and gave them food, which brought big smiles, according to the group. The MOC and MOCA’s motto, “Keep Them Smiling In Sheets of White” was realized by participating in the visit.
