FAIRBORN — A new 124,000 square-foot Kroger Marketplace will open in August within the Shoppes at Valle Greene on the 1100 block of East Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, neighboring PetValu, Pro Nails, Cassano’s, H&R Block as well as a Starbucks, with space for additional businesses still remaining.

Starbucks recently signed a lease to occupy the space next to H&R Block and Cassano’s with interior renovations slated to begin in the spring months, pushing for a late summer or early fall opening. Starbucks will fully-occupy the facility, which was formerly a bank building that was purchased by Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. in December 2015 and has since been renovated to include space for multiple businesses.

“The Shoppes at Valle Greene development continues to attract a national and regional tenant mix and further solidifies the strength of this section in the retail market,” said Chris Conley, president of Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. “We are very happy to add another Starbucks to our retail portfolio.”

The realty company additionally constructed a new 6,000 square-foot building that now houses PetValu, which opened Nov. 4, 2016, as well as Pro Nails. More than 1,000 square feet remain in that building that is available for another business to occupy.
