FAIRBORN — If you have any part in caring for a child, this is a free workshop for you. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, caregiver, foster parent — all are welcome.

It relates to the question: “Why won’t the kids listen and do what I said!?”

Join Jody Johnston Pawel, licensed social worker and certified family life educator from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 at Fairborn Intermediate School as she reveals how to get kids to cooperate the first time you ask. During this fun and entertaining program, you will find out why children often do what you just told them not to do, and how to prevent this. You will also discover how to motivate kids without bribes and get practical tips on preventing and stopping power struggles.

Pre-registration is requested by calling 937-878-3969, but not required.
