FAIRBORN — The City of Fairborn will kick off its 4th Annual Jazz Festival Saturay, Aug. 6 at Central Park near the YMCA. This free, family event begins at noon and continues until 7:30 p.m.

Performances will be held throughout the day from the following entertainers:

– 12-1 p.m. Shakertown Stompers

– 1:30-2:30 p.m. Eddie Brookshire Quintet w/Brenda Flowers

– 3-4 p.m. Triads

– 4:30-5:30 p.m. Sandra Rutledge & Friends

– 6-7:30 p.m. Roderick Wilson Jaxx Combo

Food vendors will be on site, and there are plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy with the sprayground and multiple playground apparatus. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to enjoy the event.
