XENIA – American Legion Post 776 and its ladies auxiliary awarded the American Legion Award for outstanding leadership, scholarship and service to area local high school graduates at Glory Ministries Church May 29.

Recipients were Makayla Day – Dayton Regional STEM School; DarQuay Hart – Stebbins High School and Jordan Harris and Joseph Johnson – Xenia High School.

Presenting the award was military veteran Elder Donald Day Sr., of Springfield along with Vermon L. Dillon of Glory Ministries Church.
